Chelsea - “Back at The Bridge”
Agency: COPA90
I produced “Back at the Bridge” a video and photography project, which was a celebration of football fans returning to football stadiums after COVID lockdowns.
The project focused on Chelsea's match against Crystal Palace, which was Chelsea's first game in front of a full stadium at Stamford for over a year. The project aimed to celebrate the return to a degree of normality and followed fans' pre-match routines across the city and their pilgrimages to the stadium.
The project was a collaboration between the director, Ben Jones, photographer and Chelsea fanatic, Woody Rankin
The video and photography provided an intimate glimpse into the pre-match rituals and experiences of the fans, adding to the sense of anticipation and excitement of the occasion. We captured the excitement and emotions of the fans, as they returned to the stadium, and highlighted the importance of football in bringing people together.
